My favorite pizza restaurant in Asheville!
Good atmosphere, good pizza, good servers.
The large house special is about $30, but it's enough for 3 people.
This pizza is the most expensive pizza in the menu, but has everything on it. The main signature mixed drinks are $11 with a pretty good selection.
    Always fast and friendly service.

Simply the best gluten free pizza I've ever had...
    and I'm from New Haven.

Pepe's, Sally's,The Spot, Modern, DaLegna's, etc. New Haven style is truly awesome. Sadly- I can't eat at those places any more.

Here, I can enjoy a really tasty (NOT New Haven, but hey- I'm super happy) pie again. Asheville, get ready, we be coming again, and one of the FIRST places besides MALAPROPS Bookstore/Cafe will be here!!! :-)

UPDATE 1: ate there a second time, and all was well!

UPDATE 2: third time, early August 2018, something was wrong- they confused something, and my order took well over an hour- I didn't have a lot of faith in the waitress, and the guy cooking looked confused. They were playing around and goofing off in the kitchen a bit too much for my taste. Over an hour later, the manager came with our food (place was NOT crowded at all), and apologized profusely, said they had to remake the pizza, and later that night I got really sick.

UPDATE 3: I hadn't gone back here in a while based on  update 2, but we decided to give it another shot- although I was nervous. I spoke with the current manager (Dave), and he described to me just how careful they are with prep, separate dedicated GF areas, etc. He advised only that if one is extremely sensitive, that they plan on coming during the less busy hours so they can pay close attention. I now feel more confident in this place. A rarity, folks. I'm thinking that MAYBE it was handling the cheese and pepper shakers that contaminated the meal in update 2...it's highly likely.

Hope it goes well for them, and me. I want to eat there

UPDATE 4: came down from CT again, they burnt two pies. The crust was like hard Utz pretzels, tooth-breaking. So sad. It was NOT AT ALL busy, so this was on the inattentive cook. :-(

UPDATE 5: So, after last weeks BURNT pizza disaster, we gave them another chance. This time it was good, but they didn't credit us for last week...so meh. The manager was very nice. I guess what bothers me is that they are consistent with their regular breaded pizzas, yet very VERY inconsistent with their glutenfree pizza pies. And they are TINY. This is true at every single place I've been to that sells gf pies. So, I look at it as a work in progress. Hope it gets better. I will be back next time I'm in Asheville (twice a year). So, they've lost a star, but I hope they'll get it back next time.

I have to admit that I love mellow mushroom! The service was great. I decided to switch tables on my own and they were cool about it. I had the mushroom soup which was sooooo good! I also had the mushroom pizza with rib eye added on. They are not stingy with the meat and the pizza was DELICIOUS!!! We sat outside but I went in to use the bathroom and am glad I did because the decor is so cool!!!!

Sat outside on patio with a group of four. Ordered drinks and pizza. Service little slow. Asked for artichokes on pizza and didn't receive them and also put on tomatoes and asked for no tomatoes. Peach Whiskey Sour good. But I love this pizza place and have tried it in many different states and I'm not impressed at all because the service and my pizza was bland and messed up.

First time customer and I was very impressed. Great food but I must admit, the atmosphere is the real kicker. Beautiful and exciting. Hosting great artwork and sense of style. Never a dull seat. Take a walk to the restroom just to get a good look around. Service was prompt and polite. Will definitely recommend and visit again if I find myself in Asheville, and I likely will!
